There are reports that Verizon Wireless will consider asking President Barack Obama to overturn any important decisions made by the U.S. International Trade Commission, in an effort to keep the wireless phone industry from a meltdown. According to the Wall Street, it would definitely be a “great” decision for the President to issue a blanket statement that he won’t allow any decision that is designed to prevent the importation of wireless devices.

After such a declaration, any parties involved would have to use ordinary patent litigation in such matters. If it would be determined any rights were violated or there were any wrong involving any matter, this could be solved by an exchange of money.

Most smart phone makers are involved in patent litigation involving their competitors. A number of cases by the ITC involving companies such as Samsung, Apple, HTC, Microsoft, Motorola, Google, and others are being considered. The agency could potentially bar many handsets from America. Verizon has not made any formal requests yet.

One of the companies involved in the cell phone market for 19 years is the Goldie Group, and the company has become one of the leaders in moving excess wireless devices through domestic and international markets.
Kenny Goldie is the President and Chief Operation Officer for the Company.
