Kenny Goldie of The Goldie Group has uncovered some interesting information about the launch of the Droid Bionic. It appears that 9 months to the day that it was announced, Verizon has finally launched the Motorola Droid Bionic. The phone can is now available to be purchased for $299.99 after signing up for a new 2-year agreement. It also comes with a whole range of accessories, including the Lapdock. Verizon will be offering an extra $100 mail-in rebate when this item is purchased along with the phone. This will be the first Motorola Android phone on the Verizon network which is capable of supporting 4G LTE access.
The Droid Bionic also has HDMI mirror capability and runs Android Gingerbread. It has a 1GHz dual-core CPU and desktop-class RAM for faster performance. 16GB of total embedded memory and a 16GB memory card rounds the complete amount of storage on this phone to a whopping 32GB. It also comes packed with WiFi N radio, Bluetooth functionality and an amazing 8.0 megapixel camera with full 1080p video capture and an LED flash function. Verizon has also decided to pre-install the ZumoCast app, which allows users to access files remotely from other computers.
